Preparations

Terrence and Amy arrived in New Smyrna Beach early this afternoon to begin preparations for the Commodore 2003 expedition. After checking in to the Aloha Motel, we spent some time readying the computer for our daily updates. Once all systems were go, we headed to Sea Dog Divers to fill tanks and finalize boat plans for the week. Then it was off to the grocery store and a leisurely dinner while we awaited the arrival of the Fuqua students.
After dinner, we headed up the beach to the Ricci cottage to welcome the Fuquaites for another year of fun and adventure. We visited with them for awhile and heard many exciting stories about their journey….this was the first time that 5 of the 9 students had ever been on a plane. How neat for them!
Tomorrow it is up early for some morning PT and a full day of diving….stay tuned!!
