Amy L. Giannotti:

Amy L. Giannotti is the current President of the Cambrian Foundation. She is an aquatic ecologist, with experience in both freshwater and marine environments. Amy earned her M.S. in environmental science at the University of Virginia (1999). Her thesis research evaluated how trophic interactions and biogeochemical mechanisms allow coastal marine ecosystems to control for and recover from eutrophication. Specifically, she examined the role that invertebrate grazers play in controlling macroalgae under various nutrient inputs. ...more




Terrence Neal Tysall:

Terrence N. Tysall's relationship with the sea began as a young child growing up in Clearwater, FL. He was fortunate enough to be exposed to the wonders of diving by his uncle at eight years of age. Now with over 30 years of diving experience, Terrence has gained expertise in every diving environment the planet has to offer. Terrence now serves as Chairman of the Board. In October 2006, 2nd Lt. Tysall was deployed to Iraq serving with the Army National Guard. ...more


Timothy Joseph Gallagher:

Tim is a member of the Board of Directors, the Diving Safety Control Board and the Vice President of Dive Operations for the Cambrian Foundation. He holds a Research Diver qualification and is trimix and full cave certified. He holds ratings as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Dive Medical Technician (DMT) and Chamber Operator. He has participated on numerous Cambrian expeditions, including the USS Monitor Expeditions (since 1998), the City of Ainsworth in British Columbia and the Great Blue Hole of Belize. ...more

Theodore Austell, III is Vice President of the Cambrian Foundation and is also currently the Vice President, International Policy for the Boeing Company in the Washington DC office. Kyle W. Creamer:

Kyle joined the Cambrian Foundation in 1997 and assumed the position of Financial Director in 1998. He has participated in several major projects which include the 1997 Blue Hole Expedition, all USS Monitor Expeditions since 1997 and the Akumal Expeditions. He has also been involved with the creation of the Cambrian Foundation Diving Manual that has forged the way for our reciprocity agreement with NOAA. ...more
