Excavating a Canal Boat

On September 17th a few of our divers explored a wreck in middle/eastern PA. The wreck is believed to be an old canal barge that was burned and sunk. This dive was organized to collect photos and footage of the site. Over the winter we plan on discussing the feasibility and logistics of excavating the site completely. There is a lot of history to be learned and explored here. We wold love to include the local students and divers of the area in this project. If you have interest in topside or below water help please let us know and we will keep you updated as the project develops!
The Cambrian Foundation would like to give a Special Thanks to Sunken Treasure Scuba Center who has been crucial in both discovering, and diving this project!
